About Domain Hotlists
A domain-intelligence advisory focused on helping brands separate real domain-based risk from noise.
What we do
Domain Hotlists is an advisory practice, not an automated threat feed. We help brand-protection, legal, and security teams understand which domain-based risks — typosquatting, lookalikes, phishing infrastructure, abuse patterns — actually matter to their organization, and which are false positives or low-priority noise. Our focus is interpretation and context: turning raw domain signals into decisions a business can act on.
How we think about domain risk
Generic threat lists flag domains on technical indicators alone. A domain can sit on a malware blocklist without being a brand threat to you, and a domain can pose a serious trademark or brand-abuse risk while looking technically clean. The gap between those two views is where most wasted effort — and most missed risk — lives. Our methodology is built around closing it, and our insights work through the judgment calls in detail.
Who we work with
Our audience is enterprise brand-protection managers, legal and compliance teams, security managers, and marketing leadership — people who need business-context risk assessment rather than another raw feed. See the use cases for how that plays out in practice.
How we publish
The analysis on this site is written to be useful whether or not you ever engage us, and it is honest about what domain intelligence can and cannot tell you — including the limits of any domain database. Our editorial policy sets out how we research, review and correct what we publish.
