Terms of Service

Effective April 6, 2026

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the website located at domainhotlists.com and any advisory consultations, briefings, or custom analyses you purchase from Domain Hotlists (“we,” “us,” or “Domain Hotlists”). By accessing the site, subscribing to updates, booking a consultation, or downloading resources we offer, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, stop using the site and do not request our services.

1. What Domain Hotlists provides

Domain Hotlists offers expert advisory on domain intelligence, brand-protection strategy, and related risk prioritization for security, legal, and trust-and-safety teams. Our public methodology pages, insights, and blog posts describe how curated domain datasets and analytical frameworks can inform decisions. Unless expressly stated in a written engagement letter or statement of work, we do not act as your law firm, private investigator, or law enforcement agent.

2. Not legal advice

Nothing on this website or communicated in introductory calls constitutes legal advice or a promise of regulatory outcomes. You are responsible for obtaining counsel qualified in your jurisdiction before taking enforcement actions, sending cease-and-desist communications, or making representations to boards or regulators. We may reference legal concepts for educational clarity; that does not create an attorney-client relationship.

3. Consultations and custom work

Paid engagements are governed by separate agreements that specify scope, deliverables, data-handling assumptions, fees, expenses, acceptance criteria, and confidentiality. Those agreements control if they conflict with these website Terms. You warrant that you have authority to share brand lists, abuse examples, or infrastructure details you provide for analysis, and that such sharing complies with your policies and applicable law.

4. Acceptable use of the website

You agree not to misuse domainhotlists.com to harass individuals, registries, or registrars; not to attempt unauthorized access to non-public systems; not to deploy malware; not to conduct high-volume automated scraping contrary to our robots.txt or technical rate limits; and not to use contact forms for unsolicited bulk marketing. We may suspend access when we reasonably believe misuse threatens security, third parties, or our reputation.

5. Intellectual property

Unless a written contract grants you a license, Domain Hotlists retains all rights in site content, visual design, proprietary list-selection methodologies described at a high level, slide decks, and written reports. You may quote short excerpts with attribution for internal business use. You may not resell, publicly republish, or train generalized machine-learning models on our paid deliverables without permission. Your trademarks remain yours; you grant us a limited license to reference them when performing services you purchase.

6. Third-party data and tools

Our work may reference WHOIS/RDAP, DNS, certificate transparency, or other public and licensed data sources subject to their own terms. You are responsible for complying with data-source restrictions in your subsequent use of insights we provide.

7. Disclaimers

The site and any preliminary materials are provided “as is.” Domain intelligence changes rapidly; lists and examples may become outdated. We disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement to the fullest extent permitted by law.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Domain Hotlists and its personnel will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill, arising from use of the site or reliance on published methodologies—even if advised of the possibility. For paid services, aggregate liability for claims arising from a specific engagement is limited to the fees you paid us for that engagement during the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, unless mandatory law requires otherwise.

9. Indemnity

You will defend and indemnify Domain Hotlists against third-party claims arising from your misuse of our deliverables, your violation of these Terms, or allegations that materials you supplied to us infringe third-party rights.

10. Privacy and cookies

Our processing of personal data is described in policies linked from the site footer. Cookie practices are explained in our Cookie Policy.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms by posting a new effective date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. If updates materially affect privacy, we will coordinate with our privacy documentation.

12. Governing law and venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. You agree that courts in Delaware have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from these Terms or general website use, subject to protections that apply to consumers in your home country.

13. Contact
